Thank you Bobby Allensworth Obsidian Tattoo. You are one of the kindest people I’ve ever met. Thank you for getting me in so quickly and for honoring my friend!

To my dearest friend JoAnn, my mama and all of us still hear doing this thing called life. Breathe and Let them! 💓✨💓

This was the “let them” movement

Just Let Them.

Listen …..
People are going be who they are and do what they want to do regardless of what you say or do…

So let go and let them. #letthem

I went years and years wondering why the people in my life did what they did. I would spend months and months analyzing and trying to micromanage the situation the best I could.

It takes years and years to reflect and understand that sometimes it’s not about us. Not about what we do or don’t do. Period

Some hurt people, hurt people and then again some hurt people, heal people.
You just have to pick your outlook and which one you want to be.

Friends, coworkers, acquaintances, strangers.

All of them. Could be anybody.
If they want to choose something or someone over you, LET THEM.
If they want to go weeks without talking to you, LET THEM.
If they are okay with never seeing you, LET THEM.
If they are okay with always putting themselves first, LET THEM.
If they are showing you who they are and not what you perceived them to be, LET THEM.
If they want to follow the crowd, LET THEM.
If they want to judge or misunderstand you, LET THEM.
If they act like they can live without you, LET THEM.
If they want to walk out of your life and leave,
hold the door open, AND LET THEM.

Let them lose you.
You were never theirs, because you were always your own.

Stop exhausting yourself and your mind about what you can’t change, or how to make yourself more worthy. You’re already worthy right now.

Trying to control any outcome regarding their decisions is a waste of time. Just let them be and let them do it on their own.
You’ll save a lot of time and sanity.
Sometimes it’s hard to make sense of why they do anything that they do in the first place.

We cannot control those or the actions of others around us, but we can control how we choose to react.
Just remember that when you decide to start letting them show you how awful they can be, don’t let it make you blind to how amazing others can be.

So let them.

Let them show you who they truly are, not tell you.
Let them prove how worthy they are of your time.
Let them make the necessary steps to be a part of your life.
Let them earn your forgiveness.
Let them call you to talk about ordinary things.
Let them take you out on a Thursday.
Let them talk about anything and everything just because it’s you they are talking to.
Let them have a safe place in you.
Let them see the heart in you that didn’t harden.
Let them love you.

No matter what in life, enjoy the ride, learn the lessons and when it comes to people “let them”.
